Life Churchis a safe place to 'be.' It is a safe place to be yourself, a safe place to be real.
Since our faith community is being built upon a foundation of Christ-like love, we are a safe place for finding unconditional love.
Life Churchis a safe place to be.We are a nurturing faith community who comes alongside you to give needed support and encouragement on the way to a fulfilling life in Christ.
Life Church of Chicagoland exists alongside other, sister churches in the Palos area to compliment the ministries and services that we collectively bring to the faith community.
In short, Life Church exists to help you live a full life in Christ. We want to be a bridge of hope and healing that leads to a path of intimacy with God that is fulfilling, transformational and available to everyone, everywhere.
Life Churchhas three areas of emphasis that describes our vision. They are referred to as the '3 H's'.
Hope- Life offers hope to everyone, everywhere, whatever the circumstance.
Help- Life offers help to everyone, everywhere by drawing upon our own life-experiences and talents.
Healing- Life brings healing to everyone, everywhere with the conviction that Christ still heals today, spirit, soul and body.
Life is for lifting people. Can we give you a lift?
Our Message of Grace
The message that Life Church offers is that, 'God is not mad at you but He is certainly mad about you.'Because He is mad about you, He wants you to live the fullest life possible and provide you with every grace that helps you to excel and prosper in every aspect of your life.
We feel that in too many cases and for too long a period of time, that we, the American, conservative, or evangelical Church, has been judgmental instead of forgiving, condemning instead of compassionate, hard and rigid instead of heard. In our efforts to voice our disgust for the obvious moral condition of America, we have succeeded in isolating ourselves from the very people we have been called by God to love, care for and reach.
Our Role in the Battle for Souls
Life Church has the conviction that our role is somewhat like a military medic's roleduring times of war.A military medic will put himself on the line, in the line of fire, to serve and help save any and all who need him regardless their condition or their status - friend or foe.In some aspects, the military medic does not perceive the woundedas friend or foe but as someone he has made a commitment to help heal, even at great personal peril and cost.
If we learn this, then the love of Christ that we have come to know will be passed along to others because His genuine love is absolutely irresistable and transforming.
Our goal, design and objective is to bereal, relevant and relational.
